Description
AcroSports’ high-energy class combines elements of parkour, gymnastics, and tumbling to help students develop coordination, flexibility, strength, balance, and spatial awareness. Through engaging instruction and dynamic movement, students build gross motor skills in a supportive and structured environment. Classes are led by experienced coaches and utilize a variety of USA Gymnastics-approved equipment, including panel mats, incline mats, crash mats, plyometric boxes, trapezoid mats, springboards, balance beams, skill blocks, and low bars.

Curriculum components include:
- Warm-up: Running, skipping, bear crawls, crab walks, jumping jacks, chassés, cat crawls

- Stretching: Full-body dynamic movements and static stretch holds

- Body Positions & Technique: Hollow body, arch, tuck, pike, straddle, lunge, splits

- Gymnastics Skills: Forward rolls, backward rolls, donkey kicks, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, headstands, balance beam work, and low bar techniques

- Parkour Skills: Precision jumps, strides, cat grabs, tic tacs, safety vaults, speed vaults, turn vaults, gate vaults, lazy vaults, kongs

- Tumbling Skills: Straight jumps, rolls, handstands, and springboard-assisted movements

- Landing Techniques: Safety landings, hand slaps, safety rolls

- Conditioning: Hollow rocks, burpees, broad jumps, leg lifts, shoulder taps, push-ups, planks, sit-ups, V-ups, and candlesticks

This all-in-one movement class is ideal for students who love to jump, roll, climb, balance, and explore movement in creative and athletic ways.
