Photography with Jessica
Description
In this class, we will cover basic photography concepts such as composition, framing, focus, depth of field, and more. We will also consider photography through a fine arts lens and will learn about important photographers and photographic movements. Each class will consist of historical and technical orientation as well as hands-on fieldwork taking photographs around campus. Students will create a scrapbook of printed work by the end of the course. Each student is required to provide their own point and shoot digital camera or digital SLR camera.
Jessica Hunter is an artist and movement teacher with more than 25 years of experience in photography and fine arts. She has a Masters in Fine Arts from UC San Diego and especially loves teaching photography to Elementary students with wide open eyes! She teaches yoga, dance, qi gong, and other somatic practices and enjoys helping her clients express themselves through image and movement.
This enrichment class is available for Elementary children (1st-6th grade) on Thursdays from 3:10-4:30pm.
The cost is $330 for 12 classes.

No class will be held on: November 12, November 26
