June Wildflowers ...and Other Cool Plants
Description
“What is so rare as a day in June?” especially when one is taking a leisurely walk through the meadows and forests around scenic Wright-Locke Farm in search of wildflowers and other cool plants.
We won’t have to walk very far to see a host of late spring flowers in bloom. We’ll take a leisurely stroll in order to enjoy the beauty of these flowers, learn some basic wildflower identification characteristics and also learn some natural history and lore about the plants we see.
The program will include a few short readings about our subjects as well as a poem or two.
