Pond Turtles Session 02: Creature Comforts
Description
What do animals need to stay healthy? Every species is different, but we all have a lot in common! Through stories, observation, and imaginative play, campers will discover what animals need to stay healthy, and how similar most of those needs are to our own.

In Pond Turtle Groups, children discover animals throughout the zoo building skills such as empathy, peer collaboration, mindfulness, and scientific inquiry.

A daily routine including morning circle, bathroom breaks, snacks and lunch will help set campers up for school year success. While the daily routine is the structure of the curriculum there is day-to-day flexibility which allows instructors to focus on campers’ immediate needs and interests; each day is a new adventure.
