Represent your school and TACS while continuing to grow as a sailor, teammate, and competitor.

The TACS Racing Team is designed for middle and high school sailors who are ready to represent their school and Traverse Area Community Sailing in home and regional regattas. Through coached practices and competition, sailors continue developing advanced boat-handling skills, tactical decision-making, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Whether your goal is to compete at a higher level, prepare for collegiate sailing, or simply become the best sailor you can be, the Racing Team offers opportunities to challenge yourself, build lasting friendships, proudly represent your school and community, and continue your lifelong journey on the water.

Season: September 8 – November 2

Practices: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school (varying dismissal times) until 6:00 PM

Regattas: Home and regional weekend regattas

Dock-Out Days: October 28 and 30
