Build a Ukelele, Fall 26'
Description
At build a Ukelele, youth will have the opportunity to learn about the construction of a string instrument and build there very own to take home. The project will involve sanding, painting, assembly, and crafting techniques. At the end of this program, youth will bring home there Ukelele and have a general idea of how it works and how to play it.

This program will take place after school dismissal. At 2:25, Elementary youth will meet at the base of the stairs nearest to the main entrance of the school. Middle school youth will meet in the middle school cafeteria at 2:23. Youth will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian by 5PM at Newfield Middle School after program.

**IMPORTANT** All programs may include some outdoor time, and all youth will need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing. This may include coats, boots, hats, or gloves if weather dictates.
