Enfield Outdoor Explorers (Middle)
Description
Enfield Rural Youth Services is excited to offer Outdoor Explorers! A six-week hiking and nature exploration program for elementary students! Each week, we’ll hit the trails at Robert H. Treman State Park and explore a different aspect of the natural world through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.

Students will hike the Bob Cameron Loop Trail while learning about the world around them. Weekly themes will include animal tracking, ornithology/birding, wildlife observation, and stream ecology. Students will have the opportunity to build outdoor skills, discover local wildlife, and deepen their connection with the natural environment—all while getting outside and having fun!

Who: Enfield students in grades 6-8
When: 9/23-11/18 (No program 10/7, 10/14, 11/11)
Where: Enfield Community Center
Transportation: Students will be picked up at the 3:30pm dismissal and bussed to the trailhead. Students will meet in the cafeteria.
Pick-Up: 5:45–6:00 PM at the Enfield Community Center.
