4-H Kritter Kamp
Description
The Tompkins County 4-H program offers a unique opportunity for youth 9 - 13 years of age with an interest in but little or no experience with animals. "Kritter Kamp" is a 2-day event, scheduled for May 16-17, 2025 at 4-H Acres in Ithaca. Participants work with an experienced 4-H member to learn new skills, and practice on the animals provided (dairy calf, dog or rabbit). The program ends with a show and recognition celebration Saturday evening. This is NOT an overnight program, youth will leave Friday evening and return in the morning.
