Week 3 is a big Parks Party: Explore, Discover, and Fall in Love with the Outdoors!

What if summer camp came with its own team of real park experts, epic outdoor adventures, and a field trip to one of New York's most breathtaking natural wonders? At Parks Party, that is exactly what your child gets!

This week, campers will be joined by FORCES Stewards from our very own local state parks, bringing the magic of New York's wild places right to camp. Through hands-on activities, guided discoveries, and immersive storytelling, these experts will teach campers about the land, how to protect our natural spaces, and find adventure hiding in every trail, tree, and stream. From furs and hides to invasive species, every day is packed with outdoor excitement.

Then, on Friday, to cap off an incredible week, campers will lace up their hiking boots for a field trip to the stunning Taughannock Falls State Park. Here they will witness one of the most spectacular waterfall gorges in the state as well as get to swim at the beach and enjoy the playground. It is the perfect grand finale to a week spent falling in love with the great outdoors.

This is more than a camp week. It is an adventure that will turn your child into a lifelong steward of the natural world.

The Enfield Summer Day Camp serves children ages 5–13 and will be held at the Enfield Community
Center, 162 Enfield Main Rd with the following programs and activities:

Breakfast & lunch provided by the ICSD Food Service during camp and on camp trips (Campers can also bring their lunch)

Your child should bring daily: Swimsuit, Towel, Shoes appropriate for sports & walks in the woods, Filled water bottle, Extra change of clothes
