Cardboard Creations, Mar - April 2026
Description
Getting creative, and constructive is what it's all about at Cardboard Creations. Using "Makedo" kits, youth will build various projects with cardboard and plastic hardware. At Cardboard Creations, youth can engineer and learn about simple machines, invent gadgets, and explore introductory mechanical concepts with friends. In addition, youth attending Cardboard Creations will have an opportunity to create a Cardboard boat for the 4-H duck race.
**IMPORTANT** All programs may include some outdoor time, and all youth will need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing. This may include coats, boots, hats, or gloves if weather dictates.
This program will take place after school dismissal. At 2:00, Elementary youth will meet at the base of the stairs nearest to the main entrance of the school. Middle school youth will meet in the middle school cafeteria at 3:20. Youth will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian by 5PM at Newfield Middle School after program.
