Youth Birding for Winter/Early spring 2026

4/12 9am-12pm


1/24 Saturday 9am-4pm Meet at CCETC

We will head out on a trip to Finger Lakes Airport, Taughannock State Park and other winter bird locations. We will be scouting for Snowy Owls, Peregrine Falcons, Snow Buntings and Horned Lark.


2/15 Sunday 9am-1pm Meet at CCETC

Birdhouse building, local birding and the Backyard Bird Count!!


3/14 Saturday 9am-3pm Meet at CCETC

We hope to find huge flocks of Snow Geese, and look for other birds along the way on this trip up Cayuga Lake.

4/3 Friday (Rain date 4/4 Saturday) Meet at CCETC 6pm

We will head to a spot known for American Woodcock displays, as well as Short-eared Owls.

4/12 Sunday 9am-12pm Meet at CCETC

We will go where the birds are. Spring migration will bring many possibilities, location TBD.
