4-H Clubs - 4-H Auction
Description
This registration is open to youth enrolled in the current 4-H program. Youth can participate in several program areas like broilers, plants, baking, and community service. These projects will be auctioned off during the 4-H Youth Fair in July, with youth keeping 95% of the purchase price and 4-H keeping only 5%. Youth who participate in this program will be required to participate in 4 workshops/trips. Marketing 101 and Marketing 102 are required for ALL registered youth. The other 2 will be chosen from a list of options that may include participating in public presentations, going on field trips, or attending other workshops. Youth will also be required to complete a record sheet, due to CCETC 4-H Staff by June 30, as well as work to secure 3 individuals or businesses to attend the auction. Youth will need to cover the cost of their own materials for their chosen project (for example the cost of the broilers and all costs associated with raising and keeping them). Projects will be entered at the 4-H Youth Fair, then auctioned off later in the week.
