Early Teen Week
Description
MCC now offers a program geared specifically for the rising 9th and 10th graders! Early Teen Week will combine some of the best things from MCC’s Middle School Program and the original Teen Week. Campers will get to build their own Skill Tract by choosing a different skill class each day. On Wednesday, campers will get to go on an Adventure Day specific to this age group. Camp starts on Monday morning and ends on Saturday Morning in this 6-day, 5-night program.

Participants will also have the opportunity for positive, co-ed interaction. Cabin groups will be paired with Brother or Sister cabins for some events to compete for Team of the Week. We are confident that our co-ed, residential, Early Teen Week will train campers how to live like Christ in their communities and encourage them in their faith as they face the year ahead.

Adventure Day Options-Early Teen Week
Hiking - Hanging Rock
Hiking – Hanging Rock State Park – Campers will go to Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury, NC located in Stokes County, just 30 miles north of Winston-Salem. Trails lead to picturesque mountain views, rock outcrops, waterfalls, and even a mountain cave. There is no additional charge for this option.
New River - Tubing
Tubing on the New River in Boone, NC. New River Tubing is the perfect way to relax on a hot summer afternoon. Enjoy tubing on this slow-moving river that provides a scenic passageway through abundant wildflowers, inspiring mountain scenery and excellent birding. Absorb the serenity of this pristine river, conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway.		+ $25.00

New River - Single Kayak
Single kayaking on the same section of the New River in Boone. The New River contains beautiful Appalachian river gorge scenery. This is a very gentle section of the New River, with clear waters that practically beg you to jump in to cool off in the summertime.		+ $35.00
