Summer Theatre Intensive - June 15-18, 2026 (no camp June 19)
Description


This intensive week of fun and next-level theatrical training is envisioned and taught by professional actors, educators and designers. STI will engage and challenge students in the middle grades. We build community through the most exciting and hilarious theatre games and learn how to connect with fictional characters, our peers and ourselves. Our process-based program focuses on theatrical design, character development, scene work and playwriting. Imagination, collaboration, and empathy are all grounding principals in our work and our acting training stems from the most innovative contemporary techniques and standards. We will depart from our weeklong camp with new friends, new knowledge, and new skills that we can apply to all artistic, academic, and social environments. Come join the STI Theatre Company! Campers should be able to follow directions. No previous Theatre experience necessary.
