Students with at least one year of school or private instruction are invited to participate in our Moses Brown Summer String Orchestras! This is a wonderful way to keep playing through the summer, solidify concepts students learned the past year with their teachers, and to play in an ensemble with other students! This is a once-a-week program that runs on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm with a culminating concert on August 12th. To accommodate enrollment and varying ability levels, the time frames may be shortened to create separate ensembles, but will stay within the 5:30-7:30pm time frame. To ensure that your child has the best musical experience with us, families will be sent a form to complete regarding their current playing ability, which can be completed by the family or the students' teacher.

Campers must have their own orchestral string instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass) and be comfortable reading music notation appropriate for their level.
