Algebra Prep
Description
This course is intended for students who want to solidify their understanding of the fundamental concepts of Pre-Algebra and begin to study elementary algebraic concepts. Topics that will be covered include order of operations, simplifying numeric and variable expressions, solving simple linear equations in one variable, and graphing ordered pairs and lines. Additional topics may be included if time permits.

Math talks will provide students with opportunities for interdependent thinking and a collaborative learning environment. This course is for students who have already completed a course in Pre-Algebra and want to improve their grasp of basic algebraic concepts before taking a full-year course of Algebra.
