Calling all Middle School coders in grades 6–8! Kent Place’s Girls Who Code club returns for its second year as an after-school club led by Upper School students and supervised by faculty. New this year, the club offers two tracks: a beginner track for students new to coding, and an advanced track for returning members and more experienced coders who want a bigger challenge. No prior coding experience is needed, just an interest in coding and engineering.
The club meets Mondays after school starting November 16 and ends with a final showcase in March. The program is free, but space is limited to 24 participants and filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so register soon!
The students will meet in the CFI (Center for Innovation) Room 211 (Ms. Austria’s room) from 3:45 to 5:00. Dismissal will be from the MS/US drop-off/pick-up circle.
