Description: Economics is the engine that drives our world. This dynamic summer course positions economics as more than just theory—it's the driving force behind every major decision in business, policy, and technology. Students will gain hands-on experience using Bloomberg Terminals, unlocking real-time data to decode market trends and evaluate trade-offs like a Wall Street analyst. Through interactive case studies, talks with industry professionals, and a field trip to the financial district in New York City, students will uncover how economics shapes everything from sustainability to social equity. The course will culminate in a capstone research project where students will leverage cutting-edge Bloomberg analytics to investigate a company's environmental, political, and ethical footprint.
