Welcome to Gotta Float ‘Em All where we will explore the amazing world of aquatic science, inspired by the captivating universe of Pokémon! Our day will begin with the Big Science Show “Fire and Ice,” a live demonstration of how energy and matter can change forms, much like Pokémon evolution. We'll then learn about Pokémon creator Satoshi Tajiri and his real-life inspirations for the creatures he created, focusing on the intriguing Pokémon Dragale and its real-life inspiration, the leafy sea dragon. Campers will conduct a series of experiments to understand density and explore the differences between fresh and salt waters and how the type of water affects buoyancy.
