The Echolocation Expedition
Description
Today we experience the incredible world of sound and hearing, first seeing the feature film “The Superhuman Body” in the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater, and then exploring our special exhibit, Super Human: Power of Technology! Campers will learn about echolocation used by animals like dolphins and bats and experience this amazing ability through a game of “Moths and Bats” where we will practice navigating using sound alone. Campers will also conduct a hands-on experiment to test how the pitch, speed and volume of our voices affects how well we can hear.
