Exploring Abstract Painting
Description
In this class we’ll explore the world of abstraction through markmaking, color, shape, and texture inspired by abstract artists such as Jackson Pollock and Polly Appelbaum. First we’ll learn about abstract art and guided exercises will support our experiments in a wide range of acrylic painting techniques, then students will use their personal inspirations and style to create their own unique series.
