Junior Staff applicants must meet the following requirements:

-Be at least 14 years old by the end of the calendar year
-Be a rising 9th–12th grader or a graduate (as of Fall 2026)
-Rising 9th and 10th graders may serve on Junior Staff during Weeks 1 and 2 only in order to maintain appropriate age differences and leadership responsibilities
-Register for at least one week as a camper before submitting a Junior Staff application

Serving as Junior Staff is an excellent opportunity to build leadership skills and earn community service hours. Please confirm with your school or organization that Camp WaMaVa qualifies for their community service requirements prior to your arrival.
