Embark on a journey to (imaginatively) explore the stunning underwater ecosystems of coral reefs, teeming with life and color. Learn about the crucial role reefs play in ocean health and uncover the fascinating migratory patterns of sea turtles, whose survival depends on these vibrant habitats. Discover how these gentle creatures navigate vast ocean distances and the challenges they face in a changing world.


The Young Mariner Program (YMP) is a summer camp for kids entering grades 4-7 that combines marine biology, on-water exploration, and hands-on activities. Campers spend time both at the museum and on the water, learning about Cape Cod’s marine life, maritime history and environmental stewardship.

Weekly sessions run Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM, with a STEM-based curriculum designed to spark curiosity and build confidence on and around the water
