Designing Solutions: An Engineering Camp for Girls
Description
Camp Description:

Spend the mornings collaborating and developing critical team-building skills. Each day, small teams are presented with real-world problems—such as designing an earthquake-proof building or creating a sustainable water collection system—and must work together to brainstorm, design, and construct a functional prototype using a variety of materials, using simple craft supplies. This engaging environment emphasizes the entire engineering design process: from initial blueprints and budget planning to testing and refining their final construction. By encouraging creativity, communication, and resilience, we empower girls to see themselves as the resourceful problem solvers and engineers of tomorrow.
