This six-week introductory course explores the unique qualities and versatility of gouache as a painting medium. Through weekly demonstrations, guided exercises, and an ongoing personal project, students will learn foundational techniques including value control, color mixing, layering, texture creation, and finishing methods. The class emphasizes hands-on practice and individual artistic development, welcoming both beginners and experienced artists who are curious about working with a new medium.
