Explore the fundamentals of pastel drawing in this beginner-friendly six-week class. Designed for those new to the medium, this course introduces the essential principles of color theory, composition, and still-life drawing. Students will work with a basic color palette and learn foundational techniques using both hard and soft chalk pastels. Through guided practice and instructor demos, you’ll develop observational drawing skills and build confidence as you create your own pastel artworks. Discover how pastel can bring the richness of painting to life using dry materials with vibrant results.

Students will receive a supply list before class begins.
