PHANtastic Honor Bands 2026
Description
High school musicians will rehearse with nationally recognized clinicians before taking the field in a featured evening performance — performing side-by-side with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and the NIU Marching Band in front of thousands of spectators.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime performance experience at a world-class drum corps event.
Middle school musicians will spend the day building skills, making new musical connections, and preparing an exciting featured performance for a live stadium audience of over 2,000 guests. Students will experience the energy of a professional drum corps event while showcasing their own musical excellence.

Registration includes instruction, music, PHANtastic T-Shirt, lunch, dinner voucher, and 1 ticket to the Midwest Classic drum corps show at NIU's Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, IL.

Family & Friends Packages are also available for $50 and include a supporter t-shirt and discounted tickets in the reserved PHANtastic seating block for the event. Packages can be purchased during the student registration process.
