The Walden West summer day camp focuses on the natural relationship between our own interactions and how they affect the surrounding world. It emphasizes positivity, creativity and fun within the large community of campers working together and building life-long memories and friendships.

In small trail groups campers discover Walden West's natural beauty, its creeks, redwood forest, nature trails, pond, and garden. Activities include hiking, archery, arts and crafts, games, gardening, sports, singing, and nature study. Don't forget pool time! The C.O.R.E. challenge course is also a part of the day camp program that builds self-confidence, physical coordination, and the spirit of teamwork. There is also a BBQ and campfire program on Thursday evening, and any camper who wants to stay overnight will go on a night hike with their groups before sleeping under the stars!

Ice cream is included in all program registration! We will serve a variety of ice cream bars and popsicles after lunch each day.

Camp Photo
Pre-order a camp photo for your child's week. Additional orders can be made online through the Camp Store up until Tuesday of your week. You can pick up your printed photo at the Thursday BBQ/Campfire. ***3-day week - we will give out photos at the bus stop and pick-up at Walden West.		+ $17.00
