The Massachusetts Junior Conservation Camp is a unique outdoor school. Our mission is to introduce young people to outdoor recreational skills including camping, boating, fishing, hunting, the shooting sports and to develop and foster interest in conservation and the stewardship of our natural resources and to promote ethical responsibility in the pursuit of outdoor activities. Subjects taught include Archery, Basic Camping, Boating, Fly and Spin Casting, Firearms Training and Hunting.

Campers participate in all courses presented, however, ample opportunity is provided for relaxation and recreation through traditional summer camp activities such as swimming, fishing, softball and volleyball.

The Camp welcomes boys and girls ages 13 to 17 who enjoy outdoor activities and want to learn more about the environment. As enthusiastic outdoorsmen and women today, they will become tomorrow's leaders, upholding outdoor traditions and safeguarding our natural heritage.
