Description
In partnership with UncoverU

UncoverU is a life and communication skills training company for pre-teens and teens; with a vision to build a world where no one is left behind. UncoverU aims to achieve this by bridging the gaps in the
pre/teen’s communication to self, family, and community.
We aim to create leaders of tomorrow today, by empowering pre/teens to imagine and make real a world of responsibility, equality, and compassion through transformative, powerful communication.
Chrysalis for Young People – 3rd to 5th Grade – by UncoverU is a series of unique “learning by discovery” workshops designed to promote pre-teen’s confidence, self-discovery and expression. At the core of Chrysalis is the belief that, to change the world, our youth need to activate their superpowers of play, empathy, compassion, responsibility, and grace. The key to the expression of these superpowers is mastering communication in the three pillars of success and happiness - Self, Family, and Community.
All UncoverU programs incorporate a multi-model approach, infusing various forms of the arts for selfexpression, including acting techniques, dance, music, painting, writing & digital expressions amongst others.
During the Weeklong Summer the Program we will explore:
1. Self and young person’s relationship with self - one's self-talk, how ones relate to the world around.
2. Relationships with family and friends – how effective interpersonal communication leads to stronger bonds and joy.
3. Connection to the broader community - Recognizing that we are the creators of the world we experience, and we are also the agents of change. The kids will get to explore their relatedness to elders
in our community.
