JUNIOR ROBOTICS, ART & SPORTS CAMP
Run, Build, Create & Discover!

Junior Robotics | (Ages 5–7)

Get ready for a fun and hands-on introduction to the world of robotics! In this 5-day spring camp, young learners will explore how robots work by building and experimenting with engaging models using beginner-friendly robotics kits.

What campers will do:
Build fun and simple robotic models each day
Learn basic concepts like gears, motors, and how robots “think”
Explore how robots and machines are used in the real world
Use block coding to control their builds and create interactive behaviors

Skills they will develop:
Critical Thinking by asking questions and solving challenges
Observation by watching how their models move and behave
Inference by predicting what will happen and why
Debugging by finding and fixing problems in their builds
Documentation by sharing what they built and learned
This camp is designed to be playful, creative, and age-appropriate for young learners who love to build and explore.

Tablets/iPads will be required for all campers to bring for the robotics camp for the following purposes:

1) Following build instructions from their E-manual (this will also be projected into the class TV for all students to see)

2) Blocking coding to program their robots/builds

3) Virtual joysticks to control their robot/builds

If you aren't able to provide a device, just inform us in advance, one will be provided by ICC on a sharing basis.


Art:
This camp encourages children to explore creativity through hands-on experiences that blend technique with imagination in a fun, supportive environment. Students will learn the basics of abstract art and creative expression, experiment with textures and mixed-media materials, explore canvas painting and color play, create depth and dimension in their artwork, and gain an introduction to Indian folk art all while building confidence and enjoying the process of making art.

Sports:
Children will enjoy an active mix of soccer, basketball, athletics, stretching, and warm-up exercises. Fun, game-based activities help develop balance, coordination, focus, and confidence in a playful, age-appropriate way.
