Description
Week-long programs at Camp Dickenson combine elements of the small-group-camping model with the choose-your-own-scheduling model. We call this the “best of both worlds” model. Each morning, campers in the same age groups do activities together. Each afternoon, campers get to choose the activities they would like to take part in (options increase with camper age). After dinner, an evening program takes place with all resident campers. Our visiting Minister-in-Residence shares stories, songs, and messages from our summers’ scripture theme at morning watch and evening worship each day.

Our tradition of summer camp is one of loving community where staff really get to know their campers. Our breathtaking setting along the New River provides ample opportunity to experience God through creation, as well as enjoy outdoor recreation.

Week-long resident camp programs begin with registration in the Multi-Purpose Building from 4pm - 5pm on Sunday. The week concludes with a Closing Celebration in the Pool Pavilion at 2pm on Friday.
