First Centenary Day Camp Adventure (Grades K-3)
Day Camp Adventure serves as a great introduction to summer camp. Filled with fun, discovery, and meaning, this week will prepare your child for a later overnight experience at camp. Day Camp Adventure includes:
-5 days of camp, Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am-2:00 pm.
- Bible Study and Worship each day
-Lunch is provided each day, plus a summer camp t-shirt, and group picture
-Grade-appropriate activities (see list below)
-Transportation is available
Camper Activities List: Crafts, Swimming Pool, Creek Walk, Hiking, Field Games, Stream Ecology, Dancing, Indoor Games, Nature Hike, Visiting Horses at Barn, Frisbee Golf, Basketball, 4-Square, Horseshoe, Corn Hole, Bouldering Wall, Low Ropes, Cookie Making, Initiative Games, Gaga Ball, and Cloudland Canyon trip (off-site).
This list includes more activities than can be done in any one week. Time, availability, and weather contribute to the actual activities that are part of the camper experience.
Parents have the option of bringing their child to Camp Lookout each morning or participating in the Day Camp Transportation Service. The following are the dates, times, and location of this pick-up and drop-off service. Please note that parents must pick up their campers at Camp Lookout at the 2:00 pm Friday Closing Celebration. Therefore, the Camp Lookout Transportation Service is not available on Friday afternoons.
Parents can drop off campers at First Centenary UMC at 8:30 a.m. and pick up their campers from First Centenary UMC at 4:30 p.m.
