Rising PreK - Week 6: Color Your World
Description
A rainbow of creativity fills each day as children explore how color appears in art, nature, and science. Campers investigate the art and science of color through hands-on exploration, discovering how colors mix, change, and behave in different materials. Simple experiments introduce ideas of light, brightness, and glow, inviting children to notice how colors look different depending on the light and how we see them. Nature-based experiences help campers explore color in plants, animals, and the world around them, including how different animals may see colors differently than people. Campers will also explore cultural art traditions, create mosaics, and experiment with a variety of mediums. Every project encourages curiosity, self-expression, and a fresh way of seeing the world.
