Age 5-6 Camp Week 5 - Sing, Strum, and Stomp
Description
Get ready to make some noise during our musical adventure, Sing, Strum, and Stomp! The week kicks off with an all-camp dance party. Everyone can move to the rhythm and celebrate the joy of music. Campers will then dive into a variety of STEAM activities, including DIY instruments and speakers, as they explore musical styles from around the world and discover the technologies that make music accessible to all. Students will also participate in music-related arts and crafts such as sound wave paintings, dancing silhouettes, shadow dancing, album cover art, and more. Along the way, campers will study the science of sound and movement, investigating soundwaves and the mechanics of the human body. The week concludes with a live performance to celebrate everything they’ve learned and created!
