Mega Machines Robotics & Brick City Builders - Session 2
Description
In week one, students will create some of their favorite motorized vehicles and machines using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 kits! Builders will learn about the basic physics concepts that power mega-sized machines and explore mechanical components such as gears, motion and tilt sensors, pulleys, and cranks. Then, students will use picture-block coding and the companion application to program their trucks, space rovers, helicopters, sea cleaners and other mega machines on the provided tablets! In week two, students will explore different methods for creating a brick model that is both strong and functional. By designing and planning everything from buildings to bridges, tunnels, and even city transport machines, builders will learn about the importance of collaboration, careful planning, and the physics concepts necessary to build a safe and successful Brick City!
