Older Elementary Camp (Grades 5-6)
This is the heart of our camping ministry program. It's a great adventure in the spiritual and social development of campers. Meeting new friends, trying new challenges, and experiencing God's outdoor world will instill in campers a greater confidence and sense of self.
- 5 days and 4 nights of camp fun and excitement
- Bible Study and Worship each day
- Thrilling evening events every night, such as campfire, group games/dancing, and large field events
- Awesome grade-appropriate activities from which campers create their daily schedule (see list below)
Camp Activities:
Crafts, Swimming Pool, Creek Walk, Hiking, Field Games, Dancing, Parachute & Noodle Games, Basketball, 4-Square, Horseshoe, Corn Hole, Gaga Ball, Cookie Decorating, Slingshot, Frisbee Golf, Group Initiative Games, Bouldering Wall, Low Ropes, Zip-Line, Archery, Caving (off-site), Cloudland Canyon S.P. (off-site), Chickamauga N.P. (off-site), Snorkeling at the Pool, Campout, Lake Paddling/Boating Games, Guitar Class, Fishing, Art/Painting Class, Cooking Classes, Mountain Biking, High Ropes (Raider Bridge, Two-Line Bridge, exit Zip-Line), Climbing Wall (with Zip-Line), Vertical Playpen Climbing Apparatus
Campers choose their camp activities for their daily activity time blocks. Please note there are more activities than can possibly be completed in a session of camp. Time, availability, and weather are all factors affecting the actual camp activity experience.
Sessions Begin and End:
Older Elementary Camp (Grades 5-6) begins Monday 9:00 – 10:00 am and ends Friday with a 2:00-2:45 pm pick-up.
