Whitewater Kayaking II (Grades 7-12)
Description
Our experienced kayak instructors will begin with a refresher at the pool reminding paddlers about safety, paddling techniques, and terminology of kayaking. As the week progresses campers will learn maneuvers on area rivers. Either previous kayaking experience or our Introduction to Kayaking camp is required ... we provide equipment or you can bring
your own as well. In addition, campers will not miss out on traditional experiences at base-camp.
• Five nights and six days (Sunday 4:00 pm – Friday 2:00 pm)
• Twelve campers maximum with two counselors and two kayak instructors
• Campers stay in the new rustic bunkhouse
