Description
This camp is designed to challenge campers while they learn what it means to be part of an exploring team. We will travel for day trips to rock climb at Pilot Mountain, NC, or Back Bone Rock in Damascus, VA, canoe on upper sections of New River, hike at Stone Mountain State Park NC, and enjoy an overnight bike trip on New River Trail (Camp at Foster Falls State Park). If you are interested in challenge, learning the basics of adventure, and growing in your faith - this camp is for you.

5 nights and 6 days of camp fun, excitement, support, and nurture

Junior High Adventure campers stay in cabins

Sessions begin with check-in from 4-5 pm on Sunday and end with a Friday closing at 2 pm

Traditional camp activities and a variety of outdoor adventure activities are available for campers to choose in their daily schedule

Camper Activities List: Crafts, Pool, Creek Walk, Hiking, Field Games, Stream Ecology, Dancing, Ice Cream Making, Nature Study, Hayrides, Slip ‘n Slide, Gaga Ball, Bouldering Wall, Night Hike, Archaeology, Fishing, Initiative Games, 4-Square, Climbing Wall/Zip Line, Campouts, Cooking Out, Archery, Tubing, Challenge Course, River Wading, River Swimming, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball, Whiffle Ball, Croquet, Sling Shot, Pamper Pole, Canoeing, Kayaking, Bicycling (On & Off-site), Natural Water Slide at Elk Creek (Off-site), Fishing (Off-site), Climbing Wall-Jungle Gym, Rock Climbing

This list includes more activities than can be done in any one week. Camper groups participate in the selection of their activities. Time, availability, and even weather contribute to the actual activities that are part of the camper experience.

Tier 1This is the subsidized rate to help those who need assistance with the camp fee. This rate is made possible by donors and other contributions to the camping program.+ $400.00  
Tier 2The partially subsidized rate for those who have the ability to pay a little more but not the full cost of camp. This rate covers only the direct cost of a week at camp such as staffing, food and program supplies.+ $450.00  
Tier 3This is the true cost of summer camp. We ask families to pay this rate if they have the financial means to do so.+ $500.00
