Week 7 (Rising 1st Grade)
Description
Camps for students entering 1st grade in the upcoming school year.

In order to complete registration, you will need to select a class in each of the following categories, Creativity, Discovery, Movement and Performance

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Family: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the class begins, we will refund tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee per class. If you cancel your registration less than two weeks before the class starts, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by Bosque School: We reserve the right to cancel a class based on safety protocols or if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full or a student can select an alternate program to attend.

Creativity
Chill Crafts 1
Led by: Meghan Bode
Bosque School

This corner of the crafting world is so chill. Join us for a week filled with daily craft activities including beads, gems, string and more. We will even discover that you don't need a sharp needle for embroidery.
Painters' Studio 1
Led by: Jayden Mansell
Bosque School Alum

Your very own masterpiece is just a few brushstrokes away! This art camp is an exciting introduction to the fundamentals of painting with watercolors and tempera paint. You’ll learn how to use just your brush and paints to express yourself through color, shape, and texture. What will you create?
Movement
Archery 1
Led by: Pam Sever
Bosque School

Join our USA Archery certified instructors as you explore the world of archery. For this introductory course, we’ll work on building strength and improving aiming skills. You’ll learn bow safety as well as basic technique with a bow and arrow.
Cooperative Games 1
Led by: Steven Guerrera
Albuquerque Public Schools

Team up and jump into this weeklong adventure in the gym. Campers will learn a variety of physical education games that are focused on teamwork, problem-solving, and most importantly fun!
Discovery
In the Kitchen 1
Led by: Tessa Cogburn
APS/Bosque Summer Veteran

Join us in the kitchen and discover the joy of cooking! You’ll learn what makes your favorite foods so delicious as we explore different ingredients and experiment with the techniques of preparing various dishes. This class teaches the basic fundamentals of cooking, and at the end of the week, you’ll have the confidence and skills to create your own delectable meals at home.
Myths, Fairytales & Folklore 1
Led by: Madee Williams
Bosque School Alum

The greatest stories never fade away and in this camp we will look at some of the greatest stories ever told. We will look at myths and folklore through history and how they formed the stories we all know today.
Performance
Musical Theater 1
Led By: Wren Mied

Join in the fun as we spin fairy tales and fables through songs and dances. All levels are welcome—if you have never stepped on a stage or if you have already dared to sing a solo in front of a packed audience, this is your chance to shine!
Mystery Theater 1
Led by: Hannah Robbs

Long shadows and dark hallways…who knows what mysteries are lurking in the corners of our campus? Throughout the week, we will play spooky drama games and practice writing scary stories. We can even create an original black and white silent film to premiere at the end of the week.

Before care is available from 7:30-8:30 am for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into before care. Daily drop in rate for before care of $20 per day. If families drop in more than two days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $40. 		+ $40.00
Weekly After Care

After Care is available from 3:30-6:00 pm for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into after care at any time. Daily drop in rate for after care of $40 per day. If families drop in more than three days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $100. 		+ $100.00
