River Camp Voyagers Week 2
Description
River Camp Voyagers is a special summer camp experience for high school students including an overnight campout* as part of four days of fun along the San Joaquin River.

On Monday we'll practice paddle sports like kayaking and canoeing, swim in the river, do teambuilding activities on the Low Ropes Course, and learn basic naturalist skills. On Tuesday, we'll complete a short downriver trip in canoes and learn how to set up a campsite. Then, on Thursday we'll arrive to camp at 1:00 pm and do a long downriver kayak trip to our overnight campsite, where we'll cook dinner using campstoves and participate in classic campfire activities!

*River Camp staff will remain onsite for the duration of the over night campout. Campers will share a tent with up to 3 other campers of the same gender. All camping gear will be provided.

A River Camp 2024 t-shirt is included in the registration cost.

To maintain competitive rates and hire the best staff possible, River Camp fees increase in direct proportion with CA state minimum wage. Partial scholarships at multiple levels are available to increase financial accessibility and inclusivity in River Camp programs. To apply for a scholarship, please use this link.
