Communities of Practice 2024-2025
Description
Communities of Practice (COP) will begin after September 1, 2024 and will run through mid-June 2025. We are excited that you are planning to participate. Some of the groups have been meeting online via zoom while others have been able to meet in person. This year we will have a new South Puget Sound in person group. Other group options are Specialized Ministry, Retired Ministry, an LGBTQ+ group, Local Church Ministry and a new MID group. We recognize that people live in all different regions, that there is self-interest to protect one’s health, and also traffic is a bear. Please let your preference be known regarding online and in person groups.

Participation is open to The North Idaho/Montana and the Central Pacific conferences as well as the Pacific Northwest Conference as they do not have a COP option at this time.

Rev. Amy Hitchens has been designated by the Committee on Ministry to Coordinate the Communities of Practice this year. Amy has been on sabbatical this summer and will be working with facilitators later in August to assign the groups. Please let her know if you are returning participant, if you would like to remain in the same group, or if you would prefer to shift to a new group. Amy will be checking email every few days until she returns from sabbatical on August 21. Amy's email is amy@npucc.org

Only those who are registered are able to participate in the groups. Scholarships and payment plans are available! Even if you cannot pay the whole cost up front, please pay the $50 non-refundable registration fee as soon as possible.

Thank you and we look forward to you having this time apart to support and learn with your colleagues.
