Description
Morning Story Circle is designed as a peaceful start to the day; a place to help students begin their day feeling welcomed, connected, and ready to learn. Through engaging read-alouds, carefully curated audiobooks, thoughtful conversations, and reflective activities, students will explore the year's theme of Belonging. Each morning, children will gather in a warm, inviting environment where stories become a bridge to meaningful discussions about friendship, empathy, courage, identity, and community. As students listen, wonder, and share their thinking, they will strengthen literacy skills while developing a deeper understanding of themselves and others. This time provides a calm transition into the school day, fostering a sense of belonging that helps every child feel safe, seen, and valued. By building community through literature, students will discover that every story, and every person, has a place here at Saint Mary's Hall.
