Inside Out: Discovery Through Dissection
Description
Ever wonder what’s inside a living thing? In this hands-on science camp, young biologists will explore the hidden structures that help plants and animals grow, move, and survive. Campers will build observation and lab skills as they safely investigate a variety of specimens, ranging from plants, to invertebrates, and vertebrates. Each day combines engaging dissection experiences with age-appropriate lessons, science journaling, and creative projects. Campers will learn to use dissection tools responsibly, make detailed observations, and connect what they see to how each organism functions in its environment. Throughout the week, we’ll focus on curiosity, respect for living things, and the idea that scientists are discoverers, not just observers. By the end of the session, campers will have developed confidence with scientific tools and a deeper understanding of the structures that make living things work. Join us for a fascinating journey inside the world of life science, where every discovery sparks wonder!
