Landscape Painting (Thursdays) Spring S1
Description
Students will learn how to observe and interpret the environment, use color theory to stimulate mood, and apply perspective to create depth. We’ll practice using paintbrushes, mixing colors, and adding details like trees, clouds, and animals. Each week, students will complete a new project while learning about perspective, texture, and how to show different seasons in their artwork. Students will learn how to paint trees, mountains, bodies of water, and skies, as well as explore how colors change with the seasons. Using techniques such as layering, blending, and perspective to create a landscape painting!
