Holiday Treats To Make & Eat (Mondays) Fall S2
Description
As Fall approaches, the air has that crisp feeling that reminds children of the holidays are near. Along with those holidays come the stories, traditions and foods that children love! In this hands-on class students will practice a combination of cooking, decoration and assembling (whichever the project requires) the iconic treats that represent the current holiday theme. Over the course of the session, we will make sweet and savory treats that look like fall acorns, scarecrows, Halloween creatures, Thanksgiving Pilgrims, Christmas classics and more. In addition, children will learn basic food hygiene and kitchen safety. As exciting as it is for children to create a recognizable work of edible art, their favorite part is always eating it!
