Noodles and Calligraphy Chinese Style
Description
Have you ever made noodles bounce? In this class we are going to make very long hand pulled noodles do just that. In Chinese it’s called Biang Biang Mian which translates to Bang Bang Noodles, the name comes from the sound the noodles make. We will also learn of the Chinese history and culture and create a Chinese fan or bookmark with Chinese calligraphy. I have taught Mandarin Chinese and have recently shared Chinese cuisine at the Culinary Institute of America. Come join us for a unique experience.
