Description
Join the instructors at Oak Valley for a fun and exciting week with horses! This horse camp encourages personal growth for each camper. Riders learn all the fundamentals of horsemanship, from grooming, to saddling, to riding. Learning new skills and connecting with people and animals builds self-esteem. For many of our students, horsemanship becomes a driving interest for many years. Oak Valley offers riding instruction in both English and Western disciplines. We are located just across from the Salado Creek, so there are miles of trail riding for the kids to enjoy. Note: Transportation to and from Oak Valley provided by Summer at Saint Mary’s Hall. Campers check in at SMH by 7am and ride the bus to Oak Valley and arrive back at SMH by noon.
