Middle & Upper School Experience: July 13-17
Description
With our Middle and Upper School Experience format, participants may select a morning enrichment session of their choice, and then choose to stay for our afternoon experience, The Swarm (see below). We also have several full day opportunities for both Middle and Upper School students scattered throughout our eight-week Summer Program that will allow students to experience service learning, adventure, and team building.

Our age-appropriate offerings are similar to the Seven Hills’ School experience — hands-on, engaging, and creative. The Summer Program offers a full spectrum of activities for rising fifth graders through twelfth graders to enjoy.

Instructor: Elliot Glum
Improve your quick thinking, critical listening, and public speaking skills. This class will help you learn how to develop respectful and persuasive arguments while debating topics. Topics will be researched and presented in a safe and polite environment.

Your Middle Schooler at Home: Babysitting and Safety Course
Instructor: Angie Bielecki
Is your child ready to stay home alone? Middle Schoolers will be able to prepare for this important life stage by taking this informative class. Students will learn basic home safety skills and will leave the class with materials to continue the discussion and make a personalized family plan to stay home alone safely. We will also cover an introduction to babysitting skills, basic CPR, and first aid.

The Swarm offers kids the opportunity each afternoon to meet up with old friends they haven’t seen all summer and to make new ones! Spend time playing games and sports, going on trips, and making new social connections. The group will collaborate to select activities and truly create their own experience. While each week will be designed around the students’ interests, Tuesdays and Thursdays will feature a planned trip.
