Golf Please Pack lunch for the week!

Golf is a lifetime sport, and this week will get children started in the game or hone their existing skills. Players will receive a daily lesson from a PGA pro and will work on swing components, putting, and course etiquette. After the lessons, players will be grouped by level and play a daily round of golf with a coach. Golf courses may include Reeves, Little Miami, Meadow Links, and World of Golf. Participants must bring their own clubs and golf balls.

Do you love LEGOs? Are you curious about coding? If so, this camp is for you! Campers will complete a variety of engineering challenges involving LEGOs, including cooperative team and individual tasks, throughout the week. Campers will also utilize LEGO Education SPIKE Essentials kits in conjunction with the LEGO Spike Prime app to build and code LEGO robots to complete different missions.

Learn foundational concepts in the game of chess. We’ll start out with the basics; how chess pieces move, the three stages of a chess game, and, of course, how a game is won. We’ll also focus on some of the life skills chess can teach us, such as learning to make and adapt plans, thinking from someone else’s perspective, and creative problem-solving. Along the way there will be puzzles, mini-games, and fun chess variants.
